Renay Intisar Jihad (B.A., M.Ed., C.A.G.S.) is a certified Reading Specialist (K-12). After years of serving the City of Springfield, MA's school system as a middle school English language arts teacher and literacy coach, she retired to pursue writing, art, and entrepreneurial interests. Renay’s popular published works include poetry, juvenile fiction, and journal books. She also writes for the Af Am P.O.V. (African American Point of View) and the Muslim Journal.
